Professor Dr. Streba Costin Teodor currently holds the position of Pro-dean with Research and Research Director at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova. Holding a double specialty in Pulmonology and Gastroenterology, he has conducted innovative research in the field of medical diagnostics and is currently involved in multiple regional screening programs led by the University. Some of his current administrative roles are to define and advance the research and innovation strategies of the University, as well as to establish durable partnerships between academia, industry partners and civil society. He has an extensive publishing track record with over 90 high-impact papers, edited multiple international books, and had invited talks at international medical congresses. He led three national research projects and had key roles in 15 major national and international research grants. He is an editor for four ISI-indexed medical journals and is a reviewer for multiple journals, as well as national and international funding agencies.
