With more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Frank started his career with Roche Germany in 2001 in the Commercial Department. Since 2011, he held various management roles responsible for audit and compliance activities for Roche affiliates across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Since November 2018, Frank has been serving as General Manager for East Africa, overseeing the business of Roche Group in 10 countries and he applied this experience for the benefit of Romanian patients.

Frank holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Loerrach (Germany).

Roche Romania appointed Frank Loeffler as its General Director, effective February 1, 2023. In his position, Frank continued to focus on the Roche mission to deliver more benefits for the Romanian patients and healthcare system, faster and with lower costs to society. He also fostered and built partnerships with a broad collection of stakeholders from the pharmaceutical industry, the public and private healthcare sector, and healthcare authorities to facilitate timely access of the patients to the latest medical innovation.
